Dual core Snapdragon S4 confirmed for Verizon Galaxy S III

Looks like people in the US willing to grab the upcoming Galaxy S III wont be treated to its quad-core Exynos variant. Instead, latest evidence points to a dual-core Snapdragon S4 powering the Galaxy S III for Verizon.

This is further confirmed by early NenaMark2 benchmarks, which show a Galaxy S III (SCH-I535) with a 1.5GHz dual-core S4. The reason for this exchange of hardware is the LTE support, which the Exynos 4 Quad chipset doesnt offer.

However, the benchmark shows something interesting. The Adreno 225 GPU in the Snapdragon S4 beats the Mali-400MP in the Exynos Quad by a couple of frames. Now, this might be due to the pre-release software and/or some inconsistency in the NenaMark2 benchmark. Dont forget, that the Galaxy S III screen is capped at 60FPS, so results close to that point may not be perfectly accurate.

This is Samsung volume setting, worked for several people but sadly only worked 2 times for me and values keep resetting for me (doesnt mean for you, so give it a try) Also this is based on STOCK firmware.

B) the second thing you might to try is app called Volume+:

This app guarantees it higher the volume without the need of touching its default settings, BUT huge drawback it highers everything: Headset, speaker and Bluetooth EXCEPT HANDSET which is the most important
(I also downloaded many volume increase apps, but Volume+ was the only one got the job done for everything but handset)

C) Lastly get GOOGLE VOICE app (create a GV account if you dont have one)

just by installing Google and logging on, every time you make a call, your calls get forwarded through Google voice and volume levels become acceptable in ALL HANDSET, HEADSET, SPEAKER, BLUETOOTH (just like phone should of have been) (this what i personally use fix my volume issues)

The handset sells unlocked and with no carrier ties, so that means you can freely use it anywhere in the world.  Also, placing the pre-order now wouldn’t charge your credit card and the website will still ask you if you really want to but the phone when it’s in stock. All of that comes with no cancellation charges, so for those of you wishing to be among the first to get the SGS III, this seems like a good option.

All of the plans require you to sign a 2-year pact. If you live in the U.K., all of the major carriers there will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S III which means that if youre not enamored with T-Mobiles plans, perhaps another mobile operator has one that is right up your alley.

Press images emerge for the Samsung Galaxy S III accessories

As you may recall from the official unveiling of the Galaxy S III last month, the new Samsung flagship is set to have a veritable slew of accessories available.

While there are no real surprises here, these official press images will give you a closer look at what sort of extras you can expect to be available for the highly anticipated phone.

The C-Pen is about the size of a standard ballpoint pen and is something akin to the S Pen from the Samsung Galaxy Note. The tip is made of a soft material which is guaranteed not to damage the screen.

The Wi-Fi display hub, also known as the AllShare Cast wireless streaming dongle, hooks up to a display via HDMI port, allowing you to wirelessly stream media from your S III.

The holder and battery charger has the ability to hold your S III (but not dock it) at an angle, while charging an an extra battery. This accessory has the neat benefit being sold with an additional battery for your S III.

The Flip case comes in both white and blue, to match both S III flavors. It replaces the back cover of the 

device, and folds over the screen when not in use.

Finally, the desktop dock allows you to dock the S III (unlike the holder), and has a microUSB port for charging and a 3.5mm audio port, which you can connect to an external audio device.

Notably absent are official shots of the S Pebble MP3 player, which aims to wirelessly sync music files from your device, and the wireless charging kit, which was previously announced as delayed until September.
